MJ (At the end of Spiderman 2): Go get 'em Tiger!

Wow, what a stupid line to end what was otherwise a decent movie. Like Melissa, I saw Spiderman 2 last night, and will also say it was okay, but I liked the first more. And the ending to this one was just lame.

I saw 50 First Dates on Monday, and again I was a bit dissapointed. Everybody I've talked to said it was a good movie, and while I won't say it wasn't, it wasn't as good as I thought. You can only make jokes out of someone like that for so long. I thought Anger Management was a better movie.

MY TRIP TO VERNON FOR THE FUNTASTIC SLOW PITCH TOURNAMENT

Final team record: 1-3
My number of home runs: 0
Number of times I did the splits: 1
Number of beers consumed during the weekend: Too many to count.
Time I arrived at the Kamloops Greyhound to hit my 9:30 a.m. bus ride to Vernon on Friday morning: 9:25 a.m.

This past weekend I went down south to the Okanagan for the Funtastic Slowpitch Tournament. Overall the trip was a lot of fun, I spent time with relatives I hardly see anymore, and I got to see Trooper perform live.

On Friday night I saw the fireworks in Kamloops. It was a decent display, as far as a town the size of Kamloops is concerned. Yet everybody around me was surprised when I said "is that it?" at the end. What is up with that? It was a decent finale but I thought it would run a bit longer. I'm just supposed to be satisfied like everybody else was?

I helped Lorne move in some furniture while sharing my beers at the new home of Dale, Lorne and Melissa. I then went to drink some wine at Sam's place. It was a decent stay, but very low-key for a lot of people. Ah well, we were competing with Meghan's birthday the following day so that's understandable.

In Vernon I got to camp for a couple nights, go swimming, and spent some time in the beer gardens which was real cool. This one guy had the best outfit - a big cowboy hat with Kokanee labels all over it, and a shirt made of Kokanee boxes. I want to do something like that when I go partying.
